WASHINGTON - Import cargo volume at the nation's major retail container ports is expected to rise 8% this month over the same time last year as West Coast ports continue to recover from a backlog of cargo that built up before a tentative new labor agreement was signed, according to the monthly Global Port Tracker report released today by the National Retail Federation and Hackett Associates.

trade show as an exhibitor this week. Interviewed at The Rug Show in L.A., the
founder of bespoke rug line Banu Home said his hands-on experience at ABC

exporting, marketing and sales. Now that expertise is channeled into his own
line, which Kimia designs and colors himself in his Los Angeles studio.
LOS ANGELES - Dealers attending The Rug Show in L.A. which ran March 29 to March
31, 2015 at the L.A. Convention Center, found a focus on luxury design,
one-of-a-kind works of art, and custom rug programs offering proprietary
patterns and cutting edge fashion. A host of design stars - both buyers and

NJ - The death of San Francisco-based artist Rex Ray earlier this year resulted
in an unexpected increase in demand for the artist's rug designs, said David
Samad, president of Samad Brothers, Inc., which entered into a licensing program
with Ray in late 2009. "We already have one new design that is currently on the
loom and there are fresh designs in the works," he told RugNews.com.
