LAS VEGAS -- Surfaces and the new World Market Center both scored solid victories at separate events here this week.
Floor covering people came to Surfaces. Furniture and accessories people came to the World Market Center. Some Surfaces attendees made the $15 cab ride to check out the downtown Las Vegas World Market Center, but there was little cross-over between the two shows.
Many rug vendors want to reach both channels of distribution, so the future of both shows could be quite interesting for the rug industry.
