HOME DEPOT REPORTS FIRST QUARTER RESULTS; UPDATES OUTLOOK
ATLANTA – The Home Depot reported first quarter 2010 net earnings of $725 million, or $0.43 per diluted share, compared with net earnings of $514 million, or $0.30 per diluted share in the same period of fiscal 2009. Based on its year-to-date performance, the company updated its fiscal 2010 guidance and now expects sales to be up approximately 3.5% for the year.
