12262018 More Rug Showrooms Debut at Las Vegas Market - New, Expanding and Relocating

LAS VEGAS -- Area rug showrooms are prominent in Las Vegas Market's latest announcement of leasing activity confirmed for winter 2019 Las Vegas Market, running Jan. 27-31. 
The most recent new-to-market area rug showrooms include Caravan Rugs, a manufacturer of high-end hand-knotted rugs in 4,581 square feet on C3 and which tested the waters last summer with a temporary space; and Unique Loom, a supplier of rugs and throw pillows that debuted in High Point in October 2018, with a Vegas space of 8,792 square feet on B4. 
Additionally, existing tenant Karastan is expanding by 3,500 square feet for a total of 12,067 square feet on floor three of Building C for winter market (read full story). 
"Our latest collection, the Hess collection, is greatly influenced by Old Hollywood. Everything is glitz, glam and over-the-top luxurious but in an effortless understated way," said Mois Refoua, president of Caravan Rugs. "We have released this collection to all of our exclusive showrooms. So far it has done extremely well and we expect continuous growth as we make our debut at Las Vegas Market."
Earlier this month, IMC announced FJ Kashanian as a first time exhibitor at Las Vegas Market. Kashanian, a East Coast designer and manufacturer of hand-knotted rugs, which will unveil a permanent showroom with about 1,000 square feet in building C, space C-392. "We received many requests from clients to exhibit at Las Vegas Market, so we are looking forward to debuting our collections and colors this winter," said Jonathan Kashanian, vice president of FJ Kashanian. "We will be displaying our curated style of sari wool, overdyes and our Modern Luxury collection."  
In Building A, Dalyn Rug Company, a manufacturer of machine-crafted rugs is expanding to 7,085 square feet on A3, and according to Bryan McIntosh, "the space is an expansion of our A-325 rather than a move, and is to gain square feet for product." 
In Building B, Orian Rugs, a manufacturer of decorative area and scatter rugs, is relocating and expanding to 6,289 square feet on B3 (B-362), which will open under the new Palmetto Living brand
In Building C, Chandra, a provider of high-quality handmade rugs, is relocating from Building B to Building C, and expanding to 8,950 square feet in C-512; and MASTOUR Est. 1890, a producer of hand-woven carpets and rugs, is relocating and expanding to 1,256 square feet on C4 (C-484).
In addition to showrooms, temporary gift and home décor resources are pacing at an all-time high in the Pavilions at Las Vegas Market with nearly 600 new and returning exhibitors confirmed for Winter Market. In Pavilion 1, GIFT will feature more than 180 exhibitors, DESIGN LIFESTYLE will showcase 30 companies and HANDMADE will present more than 100 artisans. In Pavilion 2, HOME and DESIGN HOME will feature nearly 100 exhibitors and DISCOVERIES: The Antique Vintage Marketplace will feature 125-150 exhibitors.
