Safavieh introduces designs across price points in total home for spring High Point shoppers, including new looks in its hand-knotted Kenya area rug collection.

HIGH POINT, N.C. -- Safavieh expects positive results from the current edition of High Point Market after it rolled out a range of fresh total home goods that check off the must-haves on buyers' High Point Market shopping lists - and a growing assortment of one-of-a-kinds for interior designers.

"With strong winter markets under its belt, Safavieh anticipates similar results for Spring 2019," Arash Yaraghi, principal, told RugNews.com. In terms of area rugs, Safavieh introduced a number of new collections across constructions and price points. "High-quality rugs and furnishings that connect to today's decor preferences at price points to satisfy every budget is always the foremost motivation behind what our clients look for in our products," he noted.
High Point Market shoppers can check out three new power-loomed options: Farmhouse, Gabbeh and Kasbah. The company is also growing its Tibetan inspired hand-tufted Himalaya collection, and adding to its hand-knotted Kenya for spring market. 


The vibrant new Farmhouse collection by Safavieh reworks medallions, tapestries and naïve motifs for a boho New Americana style. 
Farmhouse, made in Turkey, is power-loomed of 79 percent synthetic fiber and 21 percent cotton. Warm and vibrant, the line blends evocative rug artistry and vivid colors to create a trendy New-Americana style. The assortment includes a selection of medallions, tapestries and naïve motifs in brilliant hues and soft, rippling textures, with braided fringes. MSRP is $507.50 in 5' x 7' 3".

Safavieh introduces Gabbeh, an assortment of power-loomed rugs made in Turkey that reinvents classic pastoral scenes and nomadic designs of these renowned Persian rugs. Made for today's eclectic home these rugs are made using family-friendly, synthetic yarns in earthy hues with a soft textures underfoot. MSRP in 5' 3" x 7' 6" is $275.66.

Safavieh's hand-knotted Kenya collection adds new designs for spring shoppers. The range elevates simple tribal rug artistry with captivating designs, luxurious textures and modish colors. The Kenya collection is hand-knotted using pure wool or a blend of wool and cotton, with layers of texture made from over-stitched cut pile yarns adding a unique tribal aesthetic to many of these rugs.
