ATLANTA -- More than 100 new rugs will make their debut in the Jaipur Living showroom at the Atlanta International Area Rug Market, where the company is also arranging several events giving buyers another reason to stop by the showroom.
"We're deepening our relationships with and understanding of the needs of interior designers," said Carl Henrickson, director of digital marketing and brand. "And, we're also continuing to increase the breadth of our product, including a major investment in indoor-outdoor rugs that are launching at winter market in Atlanta."
In particular, the Georgia-based company adds some 44 new indoor-outdoor area rugs, including new looks in its award-winning Polaris. It also expands on its popular Nikki Chu program, amping up the designer's indoor performance offerings and adding a new range of Chu pillows; grows its successful eco-friendly Naturals Tobago assortment of hand-woven jute flatweaves; and offers 17 new area rug collections for market-goers to review in its Building 1 showroom, 12-F-9.
The company expects the January 2019 markets will be "better than ever," said Henrickson, "because we have powerful introductions in our traditional hand-crafted and power-loomed collections -- we're always expanding on our ideas and designs, and we listen to our customers."
A good market notwithstanding, the company will be keeping its eye on one factor that might cause challenges in the coming year for many rug in the rug industry, "The looming tariff issues surrounding international trade may have an impact on some businesses."
