Thibault Van Renne celebrates the opening of new Chelsea Harbour showroom with a grand opening party during London Design Week 2019.
LONDON -- Thibault Van Renne and O&A London are celebrating the opening of their new showroom here at Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour on Wednesday, during London Design Week 2019, to be held March 10 -15.
The timeless handmade artistry of Thibault Van Renne carpets inspired the TVR team to create the new showroom interior with the aesthetics of an art gallery. Designers Oleg Klodt and Anna Agapova have implemented that concept and complemented the new minimalist space with O&A London's collectible furniture.
Thibault Van Renne, founder of the eponymous label, and designers Oleg Klodt and Anna Agapova, co-founders of O&A London, will celebrate with music performances, and refreshments at a Grand Party on Wednesday, March 13 during London Design Week. 
With its flagship store in Ghent, Belgium for 12 years, Thibault Van Renne carpet design studios have opened in the period from 2017 to 2019 in Moscow, Shanghai, Dusseldorf, London and in Vilnius, Lithuania.
The number of TVR brand stores is constantly increasing to insure convenience for clients, according to Tomas Tekorius, head of international development. "It is complicated to make a long-term investment in a carpet, which is equal to an artwork, by choosing it from a catalog or website: there is a wish to see the product in reality - to touch it, to evaluate how it looks in the interior, and finally to select ideally suited colors, size and shape.  Therefore, physical sale points are needed. We want that products of the highest quality to be available for evaluation in reality, not only virtually. Thibault Van Renne seeks that every client could select the product perfectly suitable for him/here or to create  their own unique piece," Tekorius said.
Thibault Van Renne agrees that a luxury carpet should be touched and seen in order to become aware of the quality, the colors and the overall look in daylight.  "In a time when almost everything is sold online, TVR goes against the stream and continues to open new physical showrooms," Van Renne explained.
