LAS VEGAS -- Las Vegas Market opens today with plenty of new showrooms, new products in fresh new color stories and novel constructions, and 50-plus showrooms featuring area rugs across the three-building World Market Center campus.
Couristan opens its new showroom today in Building B (B360) with a ribbon cutting ceremony, and the ribbon cuttings continue with market newcomers Lolo Rugs and Gift (C468), NY designer source Mastour Galleries (C583), and Saddlemans (C453).
There are plenty of parties on deck at area rug showrooms with opportunities to meet new licensing partners and top designers. Jaipur Living ensures lots of activity at its showroom with events each day from Sunday through Tuesday, including a meet and greet with celeb designer Nikki Chu on July 31. Karistan unveils the anticipated Scott Living Rug collection with a launch cocktail party today at 4:00.
On Monday, KAS holds a launch party for its Hang Ten collection introducing its licensing partners from Jewel Branding, and at 5:00 Feizy hosts a reception for interior designer and licensing partner, Kerrie Kelly. Momeni is also throwing a market party at its showroom on Monday, beginning at 5:00 with myriad new collections to browse.

AMER RUGS INC.
With a nod to Las Vegas Market's southwestern shoppers, Amer introduces Denmark Shag power-loomed in neutral-toned tribal patterns accented with bright colors and a casual twisted fringe.
A hit with Atlanta market shoppers for its rich monochromatic colors and intricate detailing, Capel's Cambria collection is hand-loomed in India in a viscose-wool blend with high-low pile and over-tufting. Retail is $1,149 in 5' x 8'.
Couristan opens its new Las Vegas showroom today presenting new rug collections like Xanadu, an indoor outdoor line inspired by Turkish overdyes with lively designs flatwoven of space-dyed polyester.
Dynamic Rugs debuts several new collections for Vegas shoppers including its new Dynasty range featuring a unique construction of hand-tufting over subtle printed pattern for an artful timeworn watercolor effect.

HAROUNIAN RUGS INTERNATIONAL (HRI)
HRI's new Celest collection, hand-knotted in India, is inspired by soft faded antique lace designs and crafted with a dense plush pile of New Zealand wool and viscose highlights.
Jaipur Living's instantly popular Polaris reworks vintage Turkish designs for indoor-outdoor settings and features a lightweight polypropylene construction. The company's outdoor offerings grow with several new collections debuting at market.
Kalaty's new Zafra collection is hand knotted in a Tibetan weave with premium hand-spun wool and Silkette. A special dyeing technique imparts the look of fine Indian sari silk.
Kaleen's Solitaire collection, handwoven with the high-end styling of Tibetan rugs, grows with the addition of subtle tribal designs and colors in 100 percent bamboo silk. Retails at $499 in 5' x 7'9".
While Karastan is keeping the wraps on its new area rug collaboration with Scott Living to be launched today, it will also showcase its new Simpatico collection, made in the U.S. of New Zealand wool and SmartStrand Silk.
KAS RUGS, INC.
With vibrant metallic accents for depth and dimension, the Montreal collection by KASRugs features traditional and transitional designs machine-made in Turkey of shrink polyester and viscose.
Look for eight new collections from Linon, including Elite with 800,000 points M2 in a 14mm pile height. Each rug has nine colors, and a combination of heat set polypropylene and shiny polyester creates a hand-knotted wool and silk, but at a retail of $199 in 5x8.
Loloi introduces its uber-textural Khalid collection of area rugs, in-spired by classic Moroccan designs and expertly hand-knotted in India of undyed wool.
New York designer showroom Mastour Galleries debuts at Las Vegas Market bringing its popular transitional silk and wool Tibetan rugs west.
Modway introduces the Ladder Abstract Plaid Lattice, a new soft high-density polyester and chenille high low design.
Inspired by a rustic outdoor lifestyle and the nomadic motifs of traditional Kazak patterns, Momeni introduces the Tangier collection at summer markets. Made in India of 100% wool, the rugs are hand-hooked,tip sheared and then washed to create a worn rugged feeling.
Nourison adds six new designs to its successful Prismatic collection for summer market shoppers. Hand-tufted from wool blended and woven with silk-like fibers, the abstract motifs are characterized by luster, depth and texture.
Nuloom introduces a range of new designs from vibrant center medallion styles to global looks including, the Claudia diamond tassel rug (polypropylene, $219 for a 5x8).
Orian introduces the Aria collection, a combination of rich, dense texture and the company's new approach to color with double the amount of color in each design. The Arrowhead design is machine made in the US of polypropylene. Retail is $638.40 in 5' x 8'.
Oriental Weavers introduces six new collections at Las Vegas Market including the hand-loomed and hand-carved Formations collection -- the company's first all-viscose range in a new construction that avoids shedding.
Rizzy Home debuts several new collections for Vegas market shoppers (read full story), including the new Artistry, a next generation of its popular Gossamer collection.
California hide rug atelier Saddlemans brings it Brazilian hand-crafted designs to Las Vegas Market, shown the new tiled Adele in sand.
Safavieh introduces its latest abstract designs from the new power-loomed Eclipse collection ($2,160 in 6' x 9') of subtly raised motifs made of silky viscose and supple synthetic yarns, then finished with fringed ends.
STARK STUDIO RUGS
Stark Studio Rugs, which opened its first High Point showroom in spring 2018, presents its growing area rug program at Las Vegas Market with luxe lines such as the Castlewall collection, hand-knotted of wool, silk, and linen.
Tayse goes Scandinavian with classic mid-century designs reborn in Serenity, a collection of multi-purpose indoor-outdoor area rugs machine-woven in Turkey of polypropylene. MSRP $187 in 5' x 8.
TRANS-OCEAN BY LIORA MANNE
One of the newest designs in the Marais collection from Trans-Ocean by Liora Manne, Sarouk offers a timeless perspective on Boho that keeps it on point for summer market shoppers. Marais rugs are power-loomed of quality polypropylene. MSRP for 4'10" x 7'6" is $285.
