Surya banks on its latest  rug introductions in a range of constructions  to continue its strong results to date, including the hand-woven Aida.

ATLANTA -- As Surya heads to summer markets in Dallas and Atlanta, the company enhances a stellar start to 2019 with a roster of on-trend products for market shoppers.

Looking back at first half results, the company has had a successful run, according to Jackie Paulsen, director of marketing. "The year is off to a tremendous start that is really a continuous momentum from the year prior," she noted. "We credit this success not only to our broad selection of accessories across all styles and price points, but to our industry-leading in-stock options and our customer-focused service levels."

The company aims to position itself as an all-inclusive resource for area rug retailers and designers. Noted Paulsen, "We have new rugs launching across a broad selection of constructions which makes us the ultimate rug destination as it truly is one-stop shopping."

In terms of trending looks and designs, Paulsen said that preferences among consumers are running the gamut.

"We are seeing that all things go right now, from very traditional, to out-there modern," she said. "Boho is going a little glam, and rustic is being refined." The company's introductions that will be on view in its Atlanta and Dallas showrooms reflect these directions.
