RUGS AMERICA DEBUTS PETS@HEART RUG COLLECTION IN HUMANE SOCIETY PARTNERSHIP
Digitally printed with a three-dimensional quality, the new Pets@Heart collection of power-loomed rugs from Rugs America results from a collaboration with The Humane Society of the U.S.
FARMINGDALE, NY -- Rugs America has launched a collection of digitally printed power loomed rugs called Pets@Heart in a partnership with the Humane Society of the United States. To demonstrate its support for the organization, Rugs America will include the HSUS logo and mission statement on product and packaging labels, and will donate 10 percent of wholesale profits to the Humane Society.
To create the collection, Rugs America transformed digital photographs of popular dog and cat breeds into rugs with precise color and pattern definition. The rugs will be offered in various sizes in a multitude of breeds, and will be expanded with new introductions annually. A company statement noted that "the Pets@Heart product is the first of its kind in the industry, and holds strong potential for fore-running a widely adopted production process for the future of the area rug trade."
The HSUS is the nation's leading nonprofit for animal advocacy, animal protection, cruelty prevention, and animal rescue and adoption, working tirelessly and selflessly to fulfill their mission of "Celebrating Animals, Confronting Cruelty." Together with their affiliates, they rescue and care for tens of thousands of animals each year, but their primary mission is to prevent cruelty before it occurs. They're working for all animals, across America and around the world.
