HPMKT Rug Showroom Debuts & News: Balta, Liora Manne, Obeetee, Orian & Well Woven

Area rug vendors -- Balta Home and Well Woven, as well as designer source Liora Manne -- make a market debut at High Point Market's fall edition, with Obeetee returning in its first stand-alone showroom and Orian Rugs relocating.

New York designer Liora Manne will feature her proprietary Lamontage textiles and floor coverings, as well as
her hand-tufted Lush rug collection at the juried InterHall destination for fall High Point Market.

HIGH POINT, N.C. -- The fall edition of High Point Market, Oct. 14-18, will feature several area rug showroom debuts including Balta Home, Liora Manne, Obeetee and Well Woven.

New York designer Liora Manne, who also designs Trans-Ocean's area rugs, will showcase her proprietary Lamontage textiles and floor coverings for interior designers and hospitality installations, as well as samples of the studio's Lush rug collection at the juried InterHall destination for fall market at space IH506, Manne, a textile designer and textile engineer, developed her proprietary Lamontage, a patented felting process she developed to create custom durable and easy-care rugs and wall textiles. For fall market she will showcase her products in a jungle-inspired themed booth. in addition, High Point attendees will be able to view samples of the studio's high-end made-to-order tufted Lush area rugs, crafted from New Zealand wool, silk and wool-viscose blends, where the yarns are dyed, over-dyed, space dyed and Y-dyed to create unique dimensions and textures. Trans-Ocean will continue to show Liora Manne rugs designed for retail at its long-standing showroom, H412 in the Hamilton wing of IHFC.

Other area rug showroom debuts include Balta Rugs, a factory direct wholesaler of woven and tufted rugs, which opened a Las Vegas Market showroom this past summer. Balta will showcase its latest trend-driven designs, including its popular children's rugs, indoor-outdoor and plush designs at IHFC, D401.

Obeetee returns to High Point Market in its first permanent showroom IHFC, H-312. Not only will the company feature a range of area rugs, from hand-knotted to power-loomed, but also introduces market-goers to its home furnishings brand Manor & Mews (read more).


Obeetee debuts Ethno Urban collection is a lineup of textural PET woven global geometric motifs.

The fledgling rug wholesaler Well Woven, based in New York, makes its High Point Market debut in showroom IHFC, G262. Well Woven will be showcasing its newest indoor-outdoor rugs, popular printed collections and its new washable rugs collaboration with textile artist Giorgia Lupi called Unraveling Stories.

Finally, another big showroom announcement comes from Orian Rugs, which is relocating to IHFC, H511. The company will feature its latest additions to its Simply Southern Cottage program of machine-woven rugs, its popular Knitwear lineup and its new wool like Bespoke collection.
