Anoosha Rouhanian, corporate counsel, business development for Dynamic Rugs accepted the award in the top price category for Machine Made, $400.01 and up. The winning Quartz collection features a vintage look and new yarn that feels like a wool blend, but is actually crafted of polyester and viscose.

The vintage-look Quartz collection by Dynamic Rugs received the top accolade for the Machine Made category in rugs priced $400.01 and up.

Accepting the award, Rouhanian said: "On behalf of my dad [company owner Matthew Rouhanian] and the rest of the Dynamic Rugs team, I'd like to thank the judges, the industry and our customers."

Rouhanian, who recently joined Dynamic Rugs, said winning the award was a huge honor, "because the other submissions were so magnificent."

She told RugNews.com: "As someone who is new to the industry, it was really nice to sense the comradery at the awards celebration. All the other companies came and congratulated me and were so warm and welcoming. It really felt like I was being welcomed into a family; this is way more than just an industry. It was super cool."

She continued, "Everyone spoke so positively about my dad. It was really heart-warming and made me respect the entire industry so much because it showed me that no matter what -- whether we are competitors or not -- everyone has respect for one another. When I went on stage, Kevin Malkiewicz from AmericasMart immediately asked me, 'are you Matthew's daughter?' I couldn't have been more proud to say yes."
