DALLAS -- Feizy partnered with Dallas Market Center (DMC) to host a special appearance by Emmy-winning TV personality and style expert Carson Kressley at the spring edition of Dallas Design Week, which offered attendees a roster full of big names and events.
The appearance by Kressley, star of series Queer Eye for the Straight Guy and Bravo's new hit Get a Room with Carson & Thom, was a highlight of a week of design-focused appearances, education and events. His exclusive interview, held in the World Trade Center atrium and sponsored by Feizy and DMC, was moderated by Kadee Coffman Blair, a CBS Sports contributor and rodeo sports announcer. Following the special talk, guests had the opportunity to meet Carson in the Feizy showroom.

"Carson is a 'Friend of the Feizy,' as we refer to our friends, and also has close ties to the Dallas Market Center," said Mike Riley, president of the Dallas made rug maker. "It was a good week to host a special event with Carson and DMC with a lecture on 'Design Intelligence.' Close to 150 people came to hear him speak, and later, we had a fun photo-op in the showroom with great friends, drinks and fabulous bites."

DMC reported that more than 1,100 members of the design community participated in Dallas Design Week from April 15-18, 2019. And the Kressley event was among many that showcased celebrity designers and industry experts.
"Dallas Design Week: Design Intelligence was a massive success," said Michael Bauer, vice president of retail development, design. "The design community came together to connect and engage with all of the special events held throughout the week."
Added Riley, "It was a very impressive event and did bring in new designers who wanted to see what Feizy was all about."
This spring's Dallas Design Week featured Dallas Market's open-daily design resources and explored the theme of Design Intelligence. Added Dallas Market President and CEO Cindy Morris, "As part of our ongoing commitment to providing industry-leading, business-building tools, we invite[d] designers on a journey of creative and strategic discovery through the World Trade Center, Trade Mart and Interior Home + Design Center."
From the latest product launches to designing for wellness to earning those all-important CEUs, the Dallas Design Week line-up was filled with events. Highlights included Dine + Design, which featured industry experts Gary Inman and Donna Vining on the topic of Creating Beautiful Designs While Crafting a Successful Business.
Also on the agenda, Design's Influence on Health & Pleasure, hosted by Mike Peterson, former publisher of Country Living and LUXE Interiors + Design magazines. Taste of Lightovation brought designers a special opportunity to experience the largest residential lighting marketplace in North America. There was also a special appearance from superstar designer Dann Foley, in partnership with Cambria Stone, and Dallas-based award-winning interior designer Denise McGaha hosted, along side Currey & Company, a special dessert reception meet and greet.
