NEW YORK
- The annual ICFF Editor's Choice Award winners have been announced in
11 categories, and the winner in the carpet and flooring category (which
includes area rugs) is five-year-old California-based boutique rug maker
Lindstrom Rugs. "The show has been amazing for us. And even more so to
be recognized with this award," said owner Eric Lindstrom who designed
the Ink Blot rug and others at ICFF.

textural Colony design in the foreground.

Presenting at ICFF for the first time, the company presented a range of
artistic hand-knotted Tibetan rugs, including Inkblot and Epidermis, and
the nature inspired Douglas Fir, an abstracted interpretation of this
classic evergreen. The rugs are crafted from Himalayan wool and Chinese
silk, blending both among two different pile heights to create a
three-dimensional texture. They show at Booth 1048.
Each
year, ICFF convenes the industry's top editors and invites them to scout
the floor of the Javits Center, then choose the best of the best of the
year’s design crop.
