LAS VEGAS -- Las Vegas Market announced today that Kathy Ireland, ambassador for the Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation, will be the featured guest at the 9th annual "Up on the Roof" fundraiser benefiting Gift for Life, on Monday, July 29, 2019, at summer 2019 Las Vegas Market. The annual gift and home industry social event will raise funds for DIFFA (Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS) through ticket sales, as well as a silent auction featuring a variety of Las Vegas-themed prizes and Kathy Ireland Home products.

The items include designs from the lighting, home furnishings, office, area rugs, outdoor furniture categories and more.
The popular "Up on the Roof" fundraiser typically draws a crowd of more than 300 industry executives, who join together to eat, drink, dance, network and raise funds for the industry's charity in a superb setting, the WorldView Ballroom on the 16th Floor of Building B. The 2019 event will be held from 6 p.m.to 8 p.m. on Monday, July 29. Party-goers will enjoy a full bar, hors d'oeuvres, dancing and the silent auction.
"Up on the Roof" tickets, which cost $25 each, or five for $100, may be purchased online, and at specially-designated kiosks on site on C1, C8 and in the Pavilions at Las Vegas Market. All proceeds will benefit Gift for Life.
Founded in 1992 to unite the gift and home industries against AIDS, Gift for Life has raised more than $5 million through special events, cause-related marketing and corporate and individual donations. In 2018, with Gift for Life's help, DIFFA: Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS, granted $285,000 to 26 organizations providing HIV/AIDS service and education programs nationwide.
