NEW YORK -- The new Oliver Stone film  Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps features star-power rugs from Warp & Weft as well as high-powered acting by Michael Douglas and Shia LaBeouf.

In the film, a young Wall Street trader partners with disgraced financier Gordon ("Greed is Good") Gekko as world financial markets teeters on the brink of disaster.

Warp & Weft rugs from the Modern Collection were chosen as part of the film's interior sets, reflecting the world of power and money.

In Gordon Gekko's sky-high modern apartment, the central player is  Warp and Weft's  10’x14’ Stripes-Steel rug. Other rugs in the home include the 8x10 rugs Structure-Slate and Structure II Slate. The rugs were designed with a minimalist aesthetic in cool grey shades.

All three rugs are hand-knotted in Nepal using Himalayan wool and Indian mulberry silk. Each rug is washed and finished in Switzerland.

For mere mortals who have to ask the price of such luxury, the rugs have a suggested retail of $9,200 in wool and $10,800 in wool and silk in 8x10 size.
