SPECIAL REPORT -- Pantone named Classic Blue the Color of the Year 2020, and fashion runways and interior designers -- as well as social media influencers -- have embraced bold blues, a color story that has gained renewed traction among area rug manufacturers.

While a perennial favorite, blue has been among the rug industry's consistent color stories -- and today that shade is back in vogue in a big way. In fact, rug buyers have plenty of fresh blue designs to choose from this fall. While some of the latest designs feature Classic Blue, they also span the blue color spectrum from denim to cobalt to royal blue and powdery tones.
