28 New, Expanded and Relocated Showrooms at High Point Market Include Several Area Rug Vendors

International Market Centers presents more than 100,000 square feet of new, expanded and relocated showrooms, with expansions by Exquisite Rugs, Feizy, HRI, Kaleen and Momeni; and a relocation by Chandra.

HIGH POINT N.C. – International Market Centers (IMC) presents more than 100,000 square feet of new, expanded and relocated showrooms in six of its 17 downtown High Point buildings for the October 16-20, 2021 High Point Market. The 28 updates – seven new showrooms, 16 expansions and five relocations – reinforce IMC’s cross-category offerings with gains in décor, lighting, rugs and furniture.

“Premier décor and furniture brands are continuing to select IMC’s properties as their gateway to the unmatched designer and retail buying power at High Point Market,” said Scott Eckman, International Market Centers (IMC) chief revenue officer. “The commitments of these new brands and investments by existing exhibitors indicates optimism for a solid market this October.”

Seven new IMC exhibitors are found in three buildings. The International Home Furnishings Center (IHFC) features two new permanent exhibitors including Hubbardton Forge (lighting and accent furniture) and Uultis (furniture curated by Brazilian designers). Historic Market Square features four new showrooms: Art Resources (hand-knotted rugs), which moved during the summer, Finesse Décor (home décor), Hinkley Lighting and Décor (chandelier, bath, outdoor and landscape lighting) and Weavers by Boyteks (Turkish textiles). New in Plaza Suites is Matrix Furniture Group (furniture and mattresses).

The 16 expansions are in five IMC properties. In IHFC, some 11 brands expand: Armen Living (contemporary furniture), Bellini Modern Living (contemporary furniture from Canada), Decasa Marble (marble dining tables), ENZA Home(upholstery, mattresses, textiles and accessories, Exquisite Rugs (handmade rugs), Forty West (lighting, upholstery and home décor), Harounian Rugs International (HRI) (Rugs), Impressions Vanity (vanities and mirrors), Koncept Technologies (LED lamps and lighting elements), Momeni (rugs) and Regina Andrew (lighting, accent furniture and accessories). Two Historic Market Square expansions are Frankie Davidson Lighting and Accents (lamps and decorative accessories) and Varaluz (handcrafted, eco-friendly lighting and furniture) with Crypton (high-performance textiles) in the connected Market Square Textile Tower. In Showplace, two expansions are Feizy (hand-knotted, hand-tufted and power-loomed rugs) and Kaleen Rugs (handmade area rugs and carpeting). Simply Amish (solid wood furniture) expands in the 200/320/330 North Hamilton complex.

The five relocations are in IHFC -- The Van Cleve Collection (Asian-inspired home décor), Chandra (handcrafted rugs) and Nuevo (contemporary furniture) – and Showplace -- Forever Green Art (preserved plants) and HiEnd Accents (bedding, tabletop and home décor).
