American Home Furnishings Hall of Fame Hosting Series of Events at April Market

A weeklong series of awards, exhibits, seminars and networking events will take place during the Spring High Point Market.

HIGH POINT, N.C. – The American Home Furnishings Hall of Fame® is hosting several social and educational events during the April 26-39 High Point Market in its new home at 311 S. Hamilton St.

Opened in April of 2023, this world-class space provides a place for the home furnishings industry and the public to gather, honor and learn, while also serving as a hub for a host of ongoing activities and events, including workshops, seminars and meetings. For the Spring Market, the American Home Furnishings Hall of Fame also is opening four new permanent and three new traveling exhibits, as well as the lighting of the new Eternal Flame.

Designed to inspire, the Hall of Fame celebrates leaders and each person who makes the home furnishings industry $150 billion strong. The home furnishings industry holds a unique position at the center of home life.

Paul Broyhill Future Leaders Awards Reception and Cocktails

5:30-6:30 p.m.

Join us as we raise a glass to honor this year’s winners of the Paul Broyhill Leaders Award. Named after one of the industry’s leading families and a company that focused on executive training, the Paul Broyhill Leaders Award is given annually to five emerging young leaders in recognition of their leadership, personal growth, communications skills and commitment to the greater home furnishings industry.

Gathering @ the Hub

6:30 – 7:30 p.m.

Designed as a gathering spot for rising young leaders, such as Paul Broyhill Future Leaders honorees and attendees of the annual Hall of Fame Leadership Institute, The Hub provides home furnishings executives under the age of 40 with a place they can call their own to meet, relax and share ideas.

Leaders Circle Celebration
Friday, April 25, 2025
5:30-7:30 p.m.

Trend Seminar and Mimosa Brunch: A Conversation with Gen Z-Exploring the Next Generation

Join us for a mimosa brunch and seminar as we explore how the authenticity trend and other emerging design directions are reshaping the future of home interiors. The Hall of Fame also will unveil its latest Trend Spotter Exhibit, “Designing with Depth: Reclaiming Authenticity in Design,” which highlights a range of new furnishings exemplifying the theme. Jaye Anna Mize, vice president of Advisory and Partnerships at Future Snoops (FS), will moderate a panel discussion among Katie Gumerson of A.R.T. Furniture and Style Spotters Evan Millárd and Victoria Holly.

American Home Furnishings Hall of Fame Brick Dedication: Pathways of Honor
Saturday, April 26, 2025
5:00 – 6:00 p.m.

Join us as we celebrate those newly honored in the Pathways of Honor surrounding the Wanek Family and Ashley Furniture Industries Eternal Flame. The Roll Call of 28 individuals and organizations placing engraved bricks will be acknowledged during a brief ceremony at 5:15 p.m. but the reverential event will last an hour to provide flexibility during busy Market schedules to stop to pay tribute as an “only at the Hall of Fame” moment.
