PHILADELPHIA – Anthropologie has launched a new capsule collection designed by Studioilse, a design studio founded by British designer Ilse Crawford and composed of experts in interior design, architecture and creative direction. The 12-piece collection includes furniture, lighting, decorative pillows, throws and a hand-tufted wool area rug.
Textural throw pillows in the Studioilse collection are hand-tufted of wool and cotton.
Studioilse chose a natural theme for materials used in the collection with crafted paper cord used to create a ceiling pendant and floor lamp as well as shelves and drawer fronts embellishing natural oak and ash furniture.
Described by Anthropologie as a minimalist solid color design, the collection’s area rug is hand-tufted in cream toned wool and accented with a carved-out border to create a visual frame. Sizes are 5x8, 8x10 and 9x12 with retails from $1,098 to $2,998. Decorative pillow covers are tufted of wool and cotton.
With a reputation as the go-to design team for everything from schools to homes to restaurants, Studioilse operates with the belief that good design functions as the framework for life and is a necessary tool for well-being.
A linen sofa with ash frame, paper cord pendant and tufted decorative pillow underscore the natural theme
of the new Anthropologie collaboration with Ilse Crawford of Studioilse.
