Dallas Design Days Schedule Announced

The April 3-4 event for the Design community to feature Dine + Design lunch with Benjamin Moore featuring Caleb Anderson and DeAndre DeVane plus showroom events across the marketplace.

DALLAS – Dallas Market Center, the largest open-daily design marketplace in the country, announces the schedule of events taking place during Dallas Design Days, April 3-4, 2023.

The spring event will feature events and networking for the design community taking place across more than 1.5 million square feet of design showrooms. The centerpiece event is Dine + Design presented by Benjamin Moore with Caleb Anderson and DeAndre DeVane, co-founders of Well-Designed. The topic of the Tuesday lunch event is “Designing for Wellness,” and their engaging conversation will also include designers Bridgette Pridgen, Daniel Stanley and Rome Lima-Stanley. They’ll share their personal wellness journeys and how that is informing their holistic and mindful approach to interior design.

Vignette Viewing Opens
8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m., World Trade Center Atrium
Custom vignettes created exclusively for Design Days open for viewing in the atrium of the World Trade Center.

Scavenger Hunt and Lighting Mixer

Hudson Valley Lighting Group hosts a Scavenger Hunt and Lighting Mixer with Lite bites and cocktails served all afternoon!

Lighting Open Houses
2:00-5:00 p.m., Trade Mart 3 and 4
These lighting showrooms will be open: AFX, Beacon Lighting, Big Ass Fans, Hubbardton Forge, Maxim, Minka Group, Savoy House, and Z-Lite.

CEU: Residential Lighting Techniques for Kitchen and Dining

Progress Lighting hosts the CEU-Residential Lighting Techniques for Kitchen and Dining. This course covers the essentials of basic lighting design, new design tips and techniques, and solutions to common challenges and concerns for lighting the kitchen and dining area.

Meet Builders of Dallas and Southlake
2:00-5:00 p.m., TM 4808
Market Lighting Services hosts "Meet the Builders of Dallas and Southlake." Join us on Monday, 2-5pm as several high-end Home Builders will be here for a meet & greet with designers to answer questions and show some of their work. Light snacks and cocktails will be served with several door prizes to win.

CEU: The Philosophy of Minimalism for Interior Designers + Lighting Happy Hour

Kuzco Lighting presents this CEUon the history and principles of minimalism as it applies to interior design. Follow the 10 commandments of good minimalist design with intriguing examples from around the globe. Kuzco and Alora Lighting will also have a full bar and showroom tours, 2-5pm on Monday. Recent home and design news at Dallas Market Center includes several new, expanded and relocated showrooms. The 10th floor of the World Trade Center has been reimagined to host multiple trade shows and design-related events.
