LAS VEGAS -- Maryland-based rug vendor Dynamic Rugs opens its Las Vegas showroom for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic struck, introducing 15 new area rug collections and more than 100 new designs for market-goers.

"We are used to the hustle and bustle of markets, and this Vegas market was unlike any market we’ve ever experienced," Matthew Rouhanian, told RugNews.com. "In place of busy showrooms, there was a quietness in the courtyard area. But, that said, there were signs of life. People have begun to venture out again and we did have customers stop by."

Sidra's updated classic rug motifs were popular with Las Vegas April market-goers.

Among the debuts that resonated most with market shoppers were two new collections from Dynamic Rugs. The reworked classic Persian looks of the Sidra collection of six designs are among the market hits with attendees. Crafted of a blend of space-dyed polyester and fine polypropylene, the assortment is machine-made in Turkey. Another successful debut is Merit, which includes a range of mid-century inspired geometric designs, machine-made of 100 percent polyester.

The Merit collection by Dynamic Rugs includes trending mid-century influenced geometric designs (design 6658).

"Customers recognized that these collections matched and flowed with the motifs that are present in the windows of all the other showrooms that display other home décor, art, lighting, furniture," Rouhanian explained. "They are sophisticated yet welcoming, artistic but not overbearing, colorful but not ostentatious, and most importantly, they have character - - something I feel people have placed new found importance on when it comes to decorating rooms in their homes. They want their homes to be expressions of themselves and something to look at."
