NEW YORK -- In addition to presenting a new licensed program with designer and TV personality Angelo Surmelis, Dynamic Rugs again is setting a new product launch record, rolling out nearly 200 new designs for shoppers heading to New York Home Fashions Market, March 23-26.

At the company's 295 Fifth Ave. showroom #1018, buyers can check out the more than 190 new designs and 26 brand new collections, which include eight handmade and 18 machine-made lines. The debuting hand-made assortments include Ariana, Ava, Enchant, Grove, Legend, Nas, Ray and Step; with additions to existing handmade lines Celestial and Cleveland.

While Dynamic Rugs experienced high foot traffic earlier this year at Las Vegas Market, which it said was one of the best shows in years, the company remains cautiously optimistic heading to New York given that some buyers are still deciding whether to head to NYC given health concerns over the novel Coronavirus. "The situation changes every day and we are monitoring it -- and hoping for the best," said Matthew Rouhanian, founder. "As of now, Dynamic Rugs will be present during the show and meetings are still scheduled."

Among the big stories from Dynamic Rugs is that shoppers in NY will be able to view the first designs from its licensed program with Surmelis, and also review its growing assortment of handmade area rugs.

While the company's machine-made rugs remain the bulk of revenues, it is stepping in to fill a gap it sees in the market for handmade options. "Our machine-mades continues to be strong, but customers are noticing some gaps in the handmade that we are ready to fill with our large variety of fresh, new handmade rugs," Anoosha Rouhanian said, noting that the company has been adding machine-made collections that feature hand-made looks as well.

Still the major driver of business at the Frederick, Maryland-based company is its continuous roll out of the latest fashion looks in a variety of trending constructions and colors. "2020 continues the ever-increasing fast pace of trends," Anoosha Rouhanian said. "Of course, this is due to people doing their research online and being exposed to trends on a global scale. What we are most excited about is that color is making a strong comeback -- people seem to want to make their home space reflect their personalities. They are being more daring and eccentric, hence the use of color."

Among the New York debuts (MSRP is for 5x8) are a range of constructions from machine-made to hand loomed:
