Flooring Maker CALI Debuts First Area Rugs

The San Diego home improvement supplier adds its first area rug collection to offer customers a soft finish to its flooring and decking products.

SAN DIEGO, Calif. -- Flooring manufacturer CALI, founded in 2004 as a sustainable building home improvement supplier, is launching CALI Rugs, a new collection of area rugs, designed to complement its popular flooring and decking.

“We’re all about giving our customer the best experience possible and infusing CALI style and attitude in every collection,” says company president, Doug Jackson, a former Shaw Industries divisional vice-president of sales & marketing who joined CALI in 2017.. “With the rollout of CALI Rugs, we’re helping them achieve a more finished living space that feels elevated but still authentic to who they are.”

CALI Rugs offer an array of colors and patterns, largely drawing upon classic neutrals that are easy to incorporate into existing designs. Each rug style comes in multiple size dimensions, with most including round and runner options. A variety of pile heights range from flat weave to full shag. Customers will find the perfect fit for each space, with durable, low piles for high traffic zones, and plush options where they want a more luxurious texture.

Like all CALI products, area rugs are designed to be durable and easy to maintain. Each option is kid and pet-friendly with a non-shedding, stain-resistant construction. There are even outdoor styles for decks and patios.

Rugs in the new collection are woven in Belgium and Turkey, using materials and techniques that are guaranteed safe for homes. All styles have received Oeko-Tex 100 certification, ensuring they are tested and proven free of harmful substances.

This initial launch is just the beginning of the company's commitment to the category with with more CALI-curated designs rolling out soon, including several machine-washable options.
