TORONTO -- Sunpan, a global furniture company specializing in contemporary and transitional designs, has entered the area rug category with nine handmade collections from India.
"We continue to expand our assortment of home furnishings with an extensive offering of rugs," said the Toronto-based company's Sundeep Bagga. "Our design partners should feel confident that they can complete an entire room with beautiful product from Sunpan. We are thrilled to announce that our rugs are in-stock and ready to ship."
The Nepal cowhide rug by Sunpan is offered in beige (shown), cola, black and exotic, a brindle hide in 5x8.
Area rugs introduced on Sunpan's website are all handmade and include hand-loomed collections Boca and Marrakech, both in viscose and cotton. The Alaska is loomed of viscose, wool and cotton, while Uma is loomed predominantly of wool with some viscose and cotton back. Other designs include the Nepal cowhide in 3 colorways, and Corfu, which is hand-tufted of wool.
In addition to its upholstery, hard furniture and dining, Sunpan offers framed art. The area rugs feature updated traditional and abstract designs as well as neutral textures and ombre stripes for living, lounge and bedroom environments.
