The fall edition of High Point Market was a hive of celebrity drop ins, showroom ribbon cuttings, and area rug shopping.

HIGH POINT, N.C. -- High Point Market was buzzing with designer events, ribbon cuttings, showroom celebrations and area rug buyers who dropped by showrooms to check out the latest rug debuts.

With nearly a dozen new area rug showrooms debuting this market with ribbon cuttings, brunches and cocktail parties to celebrate, the air was festive and the shopping brisk. Also in the spotlight were new designer licensing partnerships (Pure Salt Interiors with Momeni, Evette Rios with LR Home, Angela Rose with Loloi) and showroom presentations by hot designers already collaborating with rug companies, from Tom Filicia for Feizy, to Stacey Garcia and Drew and Jonathan Scott for Karastan, and Nicole Curtis for Nourison and Tamara Day for Kaleen -- the rug company feting its 25th anniversary this market after shelving the events for a year due to Covid restrictions.
