HIGH POINT, N.C. -- The High Point Market Authority is adding two additional webinars to its IdeaStreams series for the summer months. These virtual educational programs will offer CEU credits and focus on budget fatigue for designers as well as the rebounding hospitality design industry.

Originally announced as a replacement to in-person programming for the Spring 2021 Market, the success of the series has prompted additional sessions to be added in July and August.

The July session, scheduled for July 22, at 2 p.m., will provide designers with advice and insights on avoiding budget fatigue when working through a project. Designers Noz Nozawa, Victoria Sass, and Michel Smith Boyd will discuss how they talk to clients about money and what it takes to get their projects over the finish line with moderator Kaitlin Petersen, editor in chief of Business of Home.

The August session brings together a broad spectrum of hospitality industry insiders to discuss the expected wave of hospitality development post-pandemic. Moderator Lynda Welte of Blueprints for GREEN Design will be joined by Alan Benjamin, ISHC, of Benjamin West, Dallas Chapman of Bernhardt Hospitality, Christina Flannery of Park Hotels & Resort, Darlene Henke, ISHC, of Audit Logistics, and Kavitha Iyer of IHG Hotels & Resorts.

Scheduled for August 19, at 2 p.m., the webinar will tap into the depth of expertise amongst the panelists to offer projections for what’s next in hospitality industry development. The session will also highlight upcoming plans for the return of the Hospitality at Market program at the Fall 2021 Market.

“This summer series will build upon our spring sessions, continuing to activate our goal of bringing relevant, business-driven insights to the industry,” commented Tom Conley, president and CEO of the High Point Market Authority. “We have a growing library of on-demand education, and now two more live opportunities to engage, learn, and earn CEU credits.”

Each 60-minute session will offer 1 CEU credit for attendees viewing the session live. Registration is available at https://www.highpointmarket.org/events/ideastreams. On-demand viewing will also be available after each session concludes.
