HomeGoods Closes Online Store, to Focus on Brick-and-Mortar Expansion

Off-price home decor retailer HomeGoods, which is owned by TJX Companies, is shutting down its online store.

FRAMINGHAM, Mass. -- Off-price home decor retailer HomeGoods, which is owned by TJX Companies, is shutting down its online store.

According to Business Insider, the chain sent an email to customers Oct. 18 announcing that it would stop offering online shopping after October 21.

"We've made the decision to focus our resources on our brick-and-mortar stores," the email message said, while adding that it would be announcing "many new store openings," according to the report.
