HIGH POINT, N.C. -- International Market Centers (IMC) announced today that five exhibitors -- Botanica, Creative Touch Rugs, Custom Contract Furnishings, Doug Frates Glass and Ti-a Baskets -- have been named Best Booth winners for fall 2019 High Point Market.
"IMC is pleased to award these exhibitors for the creativity and effort that they put into their displays,"said JoAnn Miller-Marshall, president of trade-show leasing for International Market Centers. "We recognize these exhibitors for motivating and inspiring market-goers with exceptional booth design and visual merchandising."
Fall market judges included Ariene Bethea, of Dressing Rooms Interiors Studio; Sandra Funk, of House of Funk; Gary Inman, of The Art of Fine Living and Baskervill; John & Theresa Dorlini, of CIRCLE Design Studio; and Evette Rios, lifestyle expert and television host. The tastemakers considered five criteria in determining the winners: overall design of the booth; creative merchandising; cohesive brand messaging; overall personality, tone, look and feel of the booth; and the human element, including customer service.
Suites at Market Square exhibitors were considered by the judges. The winning exhibitors included: Custom Contract Furnishings in Hospitality Design Studio (seating); Ti-a Baskets (handwoven, eco-friendly baskets); Botanica (preserved botanicals); Creative Touch (handmade rugs); and Doug Frates Glass in SALON (art glass). The Suites at Market Square, which features 300 temporary exhibitors, is open through 5 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23.
