HIGH POINT, N.C. -- Kalaty Rug Corp. heads to High Point Market, Oct. 26-30, with a fresh lineup of hand-knotted and high-end machine-woven area rugs in varied weaves, textures, and constructions at its IHFC G369 showroom.
Among the featured highlights is its high-end heirloom product line, which adds new collections and additions to existing best sellers. Another must-see development is Kalaty's hand-finished power-loomed collections, which are virtually indistinguishable from many hand-knotted designs.
“Style wise, our latest offerings include a variety of collections and additions to best-selling collections in a multitude of today’s most sought-after colors, weaves and textures,” says Kamran Kalaty, a company spokesman. “Texture continues to be everything in fashion today, and we want our High Point customers to 'Discover the Kalaty Difference’ through the vast number of textural designs at all price levels to be found throughout our product line. In addition, we urge High Point customers to take note of the 46 rug designs we offer in grand ‘Mansion-Sizes’ – 13x18, 14x20, 15x22 and 16x24.”
Among the latest hand-knotted collections at the high end: Celine, a 100 percent premium hand-spun wool collection of updated-traditional designs in fashion colors; Forte, a high-fashion collection of modern-meets-traditional styles in a wool-Silkette blend; and Kosta, an eclectic group also made in a wool-Silkette blend. Also new to High Point, there are two high-end power-loomed hand-bound wool collections: Ventura, a group of ten high-energy abstract and modern designs; and the Blooma collection of updated-traditional floral patterns with charming vintage looks.
