Kaleen Rugs Launches 15 New Rug Collections

The rug manufacturer introduces 15 new collections and the new ultra high-end brand Luxe as well as additions to 3 of its most popular collections during the High Point Spring Market.

HIGH POINT, NC -- Kaleen Rugs, a high-quality rug and carpet manufacturer, celebrates its 25th year in business and is showcasing 15 new rug collections and their new ultra-high-end brand Luxe at High Point Spring Market this June.

On top of Kaleen's 15 new rug collections, which debuted this past Las Vegas Market, the company is showing new additions to three of their most popular collections – Chancellor, Marble and Sunice.

Kaleen's COO, Monty Rathi, said, "While this year's new indoor/outdoor collections have been very well received, we are also excited to show a series of new additions to two of our most popular hand-tufted collections, Marble and Chancellor. These additions feature all-new designs with lots of fun and attractive colors, which are sure to be a hit with our customers.

“We are also excited to introduce our new ultra-high-end brand LUXE by Kaleen," he added. "Luxe is focused on providing the highest quality hand-knotted rugs on the market. The brand currently consists of two collections – Sikri and Ali. The Sikri collection is truly unique as it is not only in-stock, but also offers fully custom sizes, hand finished in India with widths from 15’ wide to lengths as long as 50’.”

Kaleen Rugs is celebrating their 25th anniversary this year, coinciding with the Rathi family's 50 years in the textile industry. "We are celebrating with 25 days of rug giveaways throughout the year," Rathi said. "Each month we will be giving away two rugs to fans that follow us on social media. Our top customers will also be receiving a special gift that we plan to send out later this year, so stay tuned."

Brian Brigham, Kaleen's director of marketing & public relations, had this to say when asked what Kaleen's guests could expect when visiting their showroom this market, "Due to COVID, showroom logistics are a little more challenging to navigate, but with the CDC and High Point Market Authority’s recent lightening of their mask policies, we are looking forward to seeing smiling faces. We are still being cautious, of course, so we will still be doing individually wrapped snacks and non-alcoholic beverages. We are planning to resume our full showroom beverage services starting this fall."

The Kaleen showroom will also feature top sellers from its current rug collections and fan favorites on social media. The Kaleen High Point showroom is located at Showplace, showroom #2345. Kaleen will be open daily from June 5-9, between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m.

HAND-KNOTTED LUXE COLLECTIONS

ALI COLLECTION

A study in classic geometrical floral patterns and Middle Eastern design, the Ali Collection's seven rugs are portrayed in a jewel-toned color palette. Handcrafted by skilled artisans, these rich, textured Afghan-inspired hand-knotted rugs are woven using age-old techniques on traditional looms. Made from 100% imported wool, Ali collection rugs perform outstandingly in heavy traffic areas. Each rug is Latex free open backed, hand serged and finished. 

SIKRI COLLECTION


Kaleen's hand-knotted Sikri designs, shown SIR05, are crafted in a blend of wool and cotton. 

The Sikri collection by Kaleen boasts a sun-washed look, and patterns that have been faded for a worn heirloom appearance but in a fresh new rug. Contemporary color palettes and over-scaled patterns create a softened, almost water-color effect that transitions beautifully with any décor. Each design is hand-knotted in India in a blend of wool and cotton, and features hand serging which is then finished by hand. The low pile and open back construction make Sikri rugs easy to move and perfect for high traffic areas. Custom Sizes Available.

CHANCELLOR COLLECTION

The Chancellor Collection pulls inspiration for its highly detailed patterns from the aristocratic fashion of the French baroque period. The intricate patterns and vibrant colors instantly command attention. Hand-tufted using space-dyed 100% imported wool which is spun into a premium yarn, each of these single pile rugs is serged by hand and backed with Kaleen's signature cotton canvas. The thick pile and hand-tufted construction of Chancellor is suitable for heavy traffic areas and will provide beauty for many years to come.

MARBLE COLLECTION

Natural contemporary shapes and rugs from mild to wild are the main focus of Kaleen's Marble collection. Mimicking spherical works of glass art, Marble rugs feature a main overall tone with contrasting swirls of complementary colors. Hand-tufted rugs using space-dyed, 100% imported wool which is spun into a premium yarn, each of these single pile rugs is then serged by hand and backed with Kaleen's signature cotton canvas.
