LAS VEGAS -- Loloi launched its Heritage collection, a specially crafted machine-made lineup to celebrate the company's 20th anniversary at an invitation only event during Las Vegas Market on Sunday, Jan. 28, 2024 at its Building B showroom.

The festivities featured a warmup by saxophonist Kenny G, who wound up his performance by calling Amir Loloi to the stage. Loloi thanked the many gathered attendees for their support and shared the details behind the Heritage collection, which he described as the company's best collection to date. The speech was followed by a champagne toast and then Loloi, walked guests to a curtained off section at the rear of the showroom, with red-roped entry area, where his sons Cyrus and Steven joined him for the dramatic reveal of Heritage, showcased in a spacious area with several rooms that fully displayed the designs.

Amir Loloi, joined by his grandson on stage, shared his gratitude to the company's many partners and his family for supporting
the business for the past 20 years.

"This is some of the best product we have done and it coincides with our 20th anniversary," Loloi said. "We tried to mimic the original antiques from different parts of the world. The products have a lot of worn out spots -- that is so unique -- and then the variation in colors is just like the old vintage rugs after being worn and walked on. I am happy and proud of it and I hope everyone is excited as I am about the Heritage collection."

Inspired by Amir Loloi’s favorite vintage rugs, the collection of 15 designs recreates a vintage aesthetic and variable-pile texture using a new craft process, which he said took more than two years to develop. Motifs in Heritage are woven with individual threads to create the intricate designs, including white cotton threads that mimic a vintage rug's wear patterns. The result is a machine-made area rug resembling an antique carpet.

Heritage is power-loomed in Egypt of a polypropylene, wool and cotton for thicker, variable texture and soft blended pile. The serging, with a saddle-stitch texture, has the look and feel of a handmade rug as well.

Loloi spent two years developing the Heritage collection's vintage aesthetic and variable-pile texture.

Each Heritage design is available in 18 sizes, from 2x3 up to 13x16, with several runner sizes, a round and squares (up to a 15x15 foot rug). These pliable rugs are foldable, helping keep the cost of shipping down, and allow retailers to display the collection folded up in the old world gallery style. Sold as a MAP (minimum advertised price) product, Loloi said it wants to ensure that its retailer partners will not be undercut by online sales.

Smooth jazz saxophonist Kenny G kicked of the Loloi family's party, which was attended by friends, retailers and designers.
