LR RESOURCES DEBUTS AREA RUGS, EXPANDS OX BAY ACCESSORIES AT SUMMER LAS VEGAS MARKET
After a successful rollout of Ox Bay Trading Co. branded throws, pillows, poufs and occasional furniture by LR Resources at winter and spring shows, the company will introduce its area rugs for the first time at the Las Vegas Market showroom of Next Step Reps.

DALTON, Ga. -- LR Resources is expanding its reach and will debut its area rugs at the summer 2019 Las Vegas Market.
"To date, we have concentrated on the eastern US, with only a few western accounts in the past," said Mike Thompson, vice president sales/GM. "Many of our existing accounts go to Vegas but we also want to grow our exposure in the western US as well."
LR Resources will showcase its main line of area rugs, including its newest Natural collection designs, at the Vegas showroom of Next Step Reps, a West Coast full-service rep group.
The company, which has been repositioning itself in the past year and a half, rolled out a gift and accessories program under the Ox Bay Trading Co. label, and will showcase its area rugs and growing accessories assortment in the showroom of full-service representative group Next Step Reps located in Building C, suite 891. "It will be a smaller footprint within a large agency's space," Thompson noted, adding, "We'll have a couple of 5x8 20 arm racks, and space to feature our pillows, throws, poufs, etc."
LR Resources continued to grow its assortment of home accessories at Atlanta market this winter.
"We started targeting the gift and accessories market with our Ox Bay Trading brand last year," Thompson noted, pointing out that the Ox Bay line, which includes 2x3 rugs, throws, poufs, pillows, and more, is also represented in Atlanta via manufacturer's rep agency Darrah & Co. Thompson expects that participating in Vegas and its latest decor and area rug lineup -- including Imagine and Outlander and new Natural collection area rug designs -- will help 2019 finish up. "This will help in that effort, as well as our main line. We hope that exposure helps us finish the year strong."
