ATLANTA -- LR Resources is introducing a new custom rug program, called Custom Naturals Expedited, at its AmericasMart showroom, B1 4-F9, during this week's Atlanta Market and later this month in Las Vegas.
To meet growing consumer demand for personalization, the company is now stocking six of its most popular Naturals collection rug designs in broadloom to facilitate the manufacture and three-week turnaround on custom sizes.
A double-sided, portable sample board detailing the new Customs Naturals Expedited program from LR Resources will be introduced to retailers during winter market.
"We have offered custom sizes manufactured in India for over five years with a four- to five-month turnaround," said Mike Thompson, sales VP, direct division/GM. "This program will help those who need their rugs sooner, and makes our customers more competitive in the rapidly growing custom arena."
The six top-selling Naturals styles in the inaugural program include: Bright White 03379; Hebrides 03305; Kiona Gray 03341; Gray 03336; Rugged 03332 and Spa Blue 03337.
"Our broadloom roll inventory is 13 feet wide, and hand loomed the same as the rugs in the Naturals rug collection. We can produce any size a customer might want up to that 13 foot width," Thompson said
Consumer demand for custom, as well as the popularity of textural natural fiber rugs has prompted LR Resources to offer its top 6 sellers for expedited cut and sew delivery.
The company is offering sample boards with product swatches and some suggestions for sizes, but the customer is not limited to these sizes, including rounds and runners.
