HIGH POINT, N.C. -- For the spring edition of High Point Market, rug showrooms roll out the red carpet to host special events alongside TV celebrities, renowned designers and influencers, and to celebrate showroom relocations.

Below are the key events in area rug showrooms across campus, so mark your calendar.

SATURDAY, APRIL 22

Breezy Boozy Brunch Celebration
11 a.m.-1 p.m.
Unique Loom | MS 190

Join Unique Loom to celebrate its new Market Square showroom with a ribbon cutting. Brunch and cocktails will be served. Live D.J. will also spin tracks.

IDS Panel: The Coaches Report
12:30 p.m.-1:30 p.m.
Feizy | 309 N. Hamilton

Discover what top business coaches are seeing in the industry. Hear from Rick Campos (founder of Design Biz Survival Guide), award-winning designer Traci Connell; and Sandra Funk, House of Funk interior designer and adviser, as they share their insider strategies. RSVP and arrive early for lunch at noon.

Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting

Opening Day Keynote: Designing a Business You Love

The Opening Day Keynote event for spring High Point Market features design stars Joanna Gaines, Amber Lewis, Jean Stoffer, Julia Marcum, Mara Miller, and Jesse Carrier, who will discuss their experiences in building a design-oriented brand with staying power. Doors open at 1:30 p.m.

Following Opening Day Keynote

Join the panelists of the Opening Day Keynote, Joanna Gaines, Amber Lewis, Jean Stoffer, Julia Marcum, Mara Miller, and Jesse Carrier, all of whom have licensing programs with Loloi, in the Loloi showroom for a meet and greet event.

The Novogratz: Cocktails & Bites

Robert and Cortney Novogratz will be hosting a cocktail party in the Momeni showroom celebrating their new area rug collections. Guests can preview the latest rugs, meet the celebrity couple, and toast with fabulous drinks. Light bites will be served.

SUNDAY, APRIL 23

Meet Jean Stoffer: Loloi Newest Collaborator
10 a.m.-11 a.m.

Loloi invites market attendees to stop by for a cup of coffee with its newest partner, Jean Stoffer, known and loved for her classic design.

Evette Rios: Home for All of our America Introduction & Q&A
1 p.m.-3 p.m.
LR Home | IHFC D531

Join designer and influencer Evette Rios for a special meet and greet, and casual Q&A entitled Home for All of our America. Rios will introduce her first licensed rugs by LR Home. Indian dishes and beer/wine will be served. Plus, earn tickets for LR Home's Mercedes giveaway.

Designer and TV celebrity Tamara Day, host of Bargain Mansions, stops by the Kaleen showroom to meet with market attendees and introduce them to her lineup of area rugs.

The Culture of Design

Join product and interior designers Stacy Garcia, IFDA, and David Santiago, IFDA, in conversation with Karastan's Tracy Pruitt as they explore the rich heritage and diversity of design and how each interprets that through the lens of modern aesthetics. Using stunning visuals these three design experts will talk about their stylistic influences, technology and innovation in the design space, and what the future holds for sustainability. Sunday Keynote: Ashley and Chad Stark

High Point Theatre

The third-generation owners of Stark Carpet, Chad Stark, CEO, and Ashley Stark, creative director, will speak about their experiences forging the future at a legacy brand while holding onto its venerable 85-year heritage. This talk will be moderated by Madeline O’Malley, Architectural Digest market director. Also the co-founders of Ashley Stark Home, they’ll discuss their path for growing new business—including Ashley’s star-powered social media influence, with over one million followers on Instagram— and how they prioritize creating world-class client experiences.

LR Home's is rewarding retail partners with an opportunity to win an all-green Mercedes EQB all electric SUV in its showroom with a drawing to announce the winner at 4 p.m. on Tuesday.
