CARLSTADT, N.J. -- As 2020 and its new way of life shifted the area rug paradigm to online sourcing and shopping, Momeni decided to update its website to make it easier for retail buyers and designers -- and consumers -- to find and source products. In addition, Momeni expects to roll out even more digital improvements over the next several weeks.

"2020 brought a lot of change to Momeni as a company," Reza Momeni told RugNews.com. "We had to pivot and make decisions that would help us to continue to grow sales while consumers were not out and about shopping. We really wanted to focus on our digital presence and our website was the first step in really putting our best foot forward in the online space. We figured now was the perfect time to update our website to make finding and shopping our products seamless. After months of making little changes here and there we decided in the early fall of 2020 to take the leap and revamp our entire site from scratch."

New website highlights various categories of area rugs, including best sellers and intros to simplify online browsing and shopping.

Momeni's team of web developers executed the revamped website within two months and the company has plans to continue to revise its digital and branding presence in the coming months. "Our focus since the beginning has always been a tradition of quality and unique design, and we want to make sure that the final presentations of our products will beautifully reflect the hard work of our product development," Momeni said.

Momeni's relaunched website highlights it successful licensing partners including Lemiux et Cie and Novogratz.

In addition, the new digital and online collateral will more prominently feature the company's design partnerships, which include Lemieux et Cie, Novogratz, Erin Gates and Madcap Cottage.

"We are moving in a direction to help share how Momeni makes 'rugs that tell stories,'" Emily Addison, head of branding and partnerships, added. "Whether it’s a specific design inspiration, culture, historical technique, or unique point of view developed in a design partnership - each collection and rug design tells a story that we are excited to share."
