Nourison Home Focuses on Comfort and Value with New Rugs and Accessories at NY Market Week

Nourison Home focuses new area and accent rugs on trending priced-right categories including shaped, washables and natural fiber rugs for New York Market Week shoppers.

NEW YORK -- Floor covering and home accents manufacturer Nourison Home is introducing a range of new area rugs, accent rugs and home accessories during upcoming New York Home Fashions Market., Sept. 16-19. These debuts will be on display in the company's showroom at 230 Fifth Ave., Suite 1305 in Manhattan.

Nourison Home's debuts focused on providing strong value for customers, and not only focus on price, but also on construction, creativity and quality. Softness, texture, washability, and non-skid backing continue to be key features that are important to big box and mass merchant buyers, and Nourison Home has introduced several new collections that offer these sought-after elements.

MARIGOLD is a new shaped polyester tufted non-skid accent rug. Fun, everyday shapes include shells, flowers, fruit, and novelty patterns. This trend continues from the company's seasonal success of shaped, soft pile accent rugs.

MILLWOOD is another collection that is durable, yet soft to the touch. Adding updated designs that range from classic stripes to more modern designs, Millwood covers all the key value points important to Nourison Home’s customers.

Nourison Home also continues to expand its natural fiber selection, introducing two additional programs, FERNWOOD and BALDWIN, both with non-skid backing, expanding on the company's successful jute category. In addition, WOOL HAVEN is a hand-woven, 100 percent wool area rug collection that offers great durability and value in a natural fiber product.

WASHABLE DÉCOR is a new offering in the popular machine-washable rug category, featuring abstract and geometric styles in soft colors, perfect for living rooms, bedrooms and kitchens.

New home accessories from Nourison Home’s Mina Victory Collection will also be on display, with dozens of fresh styles of pillows, throws, and poufs - many designed for indoor and outdoor use.

Nourison Home’s New York showroom will be open from Monday, Sept. 16 to Friday, Sept. 20. All new introductions will be on display with sales staff on hand to answer questions and offer guided tours.
