NEW YORK -- Oriental Weavers, formerly housed at the Textiles Building at 295 Fifth Ave., held a soft opening of its new Manhattan showroom located at 260 Fifth Ave. this week for New York Home Fashions Market attendees.

The coveted penthouse space, which is housed on the building's top two levels, floors 11 and 12, features a light-drenched interior, pleasing views, and high ceilings. And while the showroom remains a work in progress set for formal debut at the spring NY event, the OW team was hosting buyers at the first in-person New York Market Week in more than two years.

The Vinci collection was a New York Market hit for its soft, dense pile blended with shrink yarns to define patterns with a high/low texture. Power-loomed in Egypt of polypropylene and polyester, Vinci features a more industrial palette, including colors like deep navy, concrete gray and soft neutrals accented with the warmth of soft gold, terracotta and brown.

A best seller at the new OW showroom was the Reese collection, power-loomed in Egypt of 100 percent polypropylene. Featuring blue and gray tones, Reese hits the important value price point in a range of designs from traditional to geometric and organic abstracts.

OW’s innovative polyester Delaney collection features a machine-washable printed base with non-slip backing in a low-profile construction and intricate blanket stitch finish. A hit with NY Market shoppers, the line’s distressed traditional designs resonated for their application in high-traffic areas and family-friendly living spaces.
