CAIRO -- Oriental Weavers, a leading manufacturer of woven carpets, announces that it will again present its latest area rugs and carpets at the upcoming Heimtextil exhibition in Frankfurt, Germany, Jan. 14-17, with its largest presence to date.

At its stand B80 in Hall 5.1, which is part of the growing Carpet & Rugs section at the fair, Oriental Weavers will spotlight its sustainable collections, its natural fibre products and its innovative foldable and washable concept rugs that can be conveniently cleaned at home using a standard washing machine. The company will also feature a diverse range of rugs with distinctive textures and unique weaving techniques. The 2025 collection draws inspiration from Egypt’s rich history, reimagining classic patterns with cutting-edge techniques that seamlessly blend contemporary design with heritage. By presenting Egyptian artistry on the world stage, Oriental Weavers elevates Egypt’s international profile while underscoring its commitment to sustainable production and consumption, the company stated.

Oriental Weavers brings its latest high-texture abstract machine-woven designs to Heimtextil.

Established in 1979 by visionary entrepreneur Mohamed Farid Khamis, Oriental Weavers has grown to become the global leader in machine-made carpets by volume. Now chaired by Yasmine Khamis, a female entrepreneur breaking barriers in a traditionally male-dominated industry, Oriental Weavers continues to empower women and foster diversity, the company said.

It has a global presence in 118 countries and a portfolio of 4.5 million unique designs and is recognized not only for premium rugs for retail chains, but also as the preferred supplier of broadloom carpets for luxury hospitality projects through its London-based Oriental Weavers Hospitality division.

Oriental Weavers operates a vertically integrated business model, controlling every stage of production across its expansive facilities with a total capacity of 150 million square meters. This ensures consistent quality and operational excellence.
