HIGH POINT, N.C. -- Nearly a dozen area rug exhibitors cut the ribbon on new spaces during the fall 2022 High Point Market making for a busy roster of celebratory events for the home furnishings fair, which ran from Oct. 22-26.

The leasing of the entire third floor of the Showplace building to Hooker Furniture forced the relocation of several area rug exhibitors including Akara Rugs, Art Carpet, Jaipur Living, LR Home, Orian, Orlena Home and Rizzy Home. Amer Rugs, which leased a temporary space in the spring  at SAMS, debuted a permanent showroom space at IHFC, H407 for fall market.

John Feizy and Thom Filicia celebrated the soft opening of Feizy's new 309 N. Hamilton showroom.

Feizy, still using its longtime showroom at Market Square, now occupies two floors of the 34,000-square-foot building acquired by Wendover Art Group earlier this year at 309 N. Hamilton. While Feizy  greeted guests at its new sprawling space, it still expects to put the finishing touches on its showroom and host a formal grand opening celebration at the spring 2023 High Point Market.
