HIGH POINT, N.C. -- Rugs America celebrated the opening of its new High Point Market showroom, located in IHFC's Wrenn wing (W346), with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

“High Point is a key market for us, and it has stood the test of time. It has always been a major hub for all the biggest furniture and home décor retailers," Aaron Hakimian, co-owner, Rugs America, said. "We had a very successful market week this year -- we had a combination of appointments with key customers, all of whom showed up, which is a great sign. Additionally, we had a steady stream of walk-in’s who showed interest in our products and new showroom. Overall, we were all very pleased with the outcome, and it met our expectations."

Rugs America recently renewed its exclusive license with publishing-house Hearst to create and promote area rugs and floor accessories under the CosmoLiving by Cosmopolitan brand. The rug manufacturer, alongside UMA Home Decor (another CosmoLiving licensing partner), hosted a special event during spring market, said Hakimian, "We had over 150 various retailers come by. We are so glad to be back at market, and we are committed for the long term.”
