Rugs USA Announces Shuttering of Annie Selke HQ and Stores

Rugs USA, which recently acquired Annie Selke Cos, announces it will shutter the textile brand's headquarters and stores.

PITTSFIELD, Ma. -- Rugs USA is closing the Annie Selke Cos'. two locations in Pittsfield and Lenox by the end of the year, putting 47 employees out of work, according to a report by local paper The Berkshire Eagle.

Rugs USA acquired the Annie Selke Cos. last year and is also reported to be laying off 30 employees. Rugs USA received an equity infusion from private equity player Francisco Partners in 2021.
