Surya Announces Strategic Entry into Outdoor Furniture Category

New 60+ piece collection includes seating, dining and fire tables with a focus on craftsmanship and sustainability.

Surya's Outdoor Collection
Surya debuts first outdoor furniture line.

White, G.A. — Surya has officially entered the outdoor furniture category, unveiling its first outdoor collection at High Point Market this week. The launch includes more than 60 pieces designed to bridge indoor and outdoor living, including lounge seating, sectionals, dining sets and fire tables.

Developed by a team with decades of experience in outdoor furniture design and engineering, the launch also includes a 33-piece capsule collection designed in collaboration with interior designer Ashley Childers.

The new line emphasizes quality construction and durable materials, with details like a five-step aluminum finishing process and hand-woven elements. Sustainability was a key focus, with the use of recyclable aluminum, responsibly sourced Brazilian teak and eco-conscious manufacturing. Seating across the line is upholstered with Sunbrella® performance fabric for added durability and UV protection.

“Surya’s outdoor furniture collection is more than just a category expansion; it’s a natural evolution of our commitment to the way people live today,” said Satya Tiwari, President of Surya. “We’ve combined great design with materials and construction that stand up to the demands of everyday living. This collection extends our customers’ design capabilities to the outdoors, with the same care, craftsmanship and curation they have come to trust from the Surya brand."

Antibes
Designed by Ashley Childers, this black powder-coated aluminum seating line features sculptural curves and bolster details, with Sunbrella® upholstery and a bronze finish.

Cape Town
Bright yellow, hand-painted aluminum seating with UV-resistant yellow Roman travertine tabletops and Sunbrella® cushions.

Fairborn
A sleek black aluminum collection with clean lines and Sunbrella® fabric upholstery.

Palma
Inspired by Mallorca, this teak and rope collection mixes natural textures with coastal style, designed by Ashley Childers.
