NEW YORK -- Surya will introduce value- and fashion-driven rug collections that offer plenty of perceived value for retailers heading to the fall New York Home Fashions Market, running from Sept. 11-14.

Surya presents its New York assortment geared toward big box and e-commerce buyers at its new 230 Fifth Ave. showroom, suite 1300.

"Our customers are looking for amazing value due to the challenges everyone is facing in retail right now," Satya Tiwari, president, told RugNews.com. "We have worked to develop products that give a lot of perceived value: machine-woven rugs that utilize yarns like space-dyed polyester, soft polypropylene and polyester shrink yarns in multiple textures. The goal is to create fashion-forward rugs that are very soft and heavy."

In addition, Surya plans to continue to expand to its lineup of washable rugs with fresh styles as well as its roster elevated indoor/outdoor area rugs too.

"We also have new woven printed qualities that will allow our customers to offer a level of color and design not available before in value price points including from our the Becki Owens X Surya collections," Tiwari said. "Along with the new rug qualities, we will offer a comprehensive assortment of tufted utility scatter rugs and recycled rubber and coir door mats."

Surya introduced its mat program at the spring 2023 New York Home fashions market.
