3/22/2022
DALLAS – The expanded and reimagined Temps at Total Home & Gift Market, June 22-25, will be the largest in more than ten years and has already attracted numerous key brands, Dallas Market Center announced. The first show of the summer season will include new product collections, expanded existing collections, new floor layouts, and hundreds of new exhibitors across the marketplace.
“Our momentum is amazing as we reach this important milestone for the reimagined Dallas Temps,” said Jo Ann Miller Marshall, senior vice president of leasing. “Buyers will be thrilled with how we have elevated the show with new collections, top brands, and the best makers. Exhibitors know that Dallas is delivering the new buyers and eager order-writing to support their business.”
More than one-third of the summer exhibitors will be new to Dallas, showing in six different destinations spanning more than 700,000 square feet of inspiring exhibits.
Debuting on the 10th floor will be High Style Dallas, featuring more than 100 booths showing the “best of the best” curated collection of gifts and décor. The collection will be a prestigious, juried array of lifestyle products from the most visionary manufacturers and artists. Founding exhibitors will include Bauble Stockings, Bunny Bradley Designs, Clayton & Crume, Fulton & Roark, Honey + Hank, Laura Park Designs, LXARTWORKS, Pascoe Gallery, and Windy O’Connor.
In Market Hall, Antiques Dallas will premiere with more than 80 booths of the country’s top antique dealers. The collection will feature one-of-a-kind furniture and accents, decorative objects, rugs, estate jewelry, and original artwork from the ancient world to mid-century modern. Founding exhibitors will include Atlanta Fine Rugs & Antiques, Foreign Affair, Palm Beach Design Estate Sales, R&A International, and Southern Eagle.
On the 12th floor of the World Trade Center, additional exciting new collections are the new MADE collection which is comprised of handmade, American made, and Made in Texas gifts; The HIM collection featuring men’s gifts, gadgets, fragrance and fashion items; Global/Fair Trade, highlighting world friendly products; and Gourmet Foods/Tabletop/Housewares. Expanding in June will be the Body & Spa collection, Home and Home Textiles, T-shirts and General Gifts. The layout for floor 12 has been reorganized to ensure that each collection is easy to work, logical and efficient. New exhibitors include Arome D’Art, Beyond Borders, Bogg Bag, Cartage Co., Cerulean Bay, Cuddledown, Farmbody Skincare, Freeleaf, Greenline Goods, Lynn & Liana, Me 2 You, Roostas, and Wright Home.
On the 13th floor, Fashion Accessories and Apparel will return with dozens of new brands to enhance one’s personal style from head to toe including Bowood Lane, Dupatta Designs, Glee Jewelry, Linny Co, Sheila Fajl, and Those Carl Girls.
Luxe Gift will return to the Trade Mart first floor with a wide range of higher-end products from all categories of merchandise including home décor, artwork, decorative soft-goods, tabletop, gifts, accessories, children’s items and paper products. New to the neighborhood are Gallery Haven, Lovegrass Designs, and Quilling Card joining previous exhibitors including J Alexander Rustic Silver, Maison Berger Paris, Luxe Dominoes, and Tri Connect.
In Market Hall, in addition to the premiere of Antiques the other Immediate Goods collections will deliver “buy it now, take it now” resources for retailers and designers seeking a solution to supply chain challenges. Home décor, vintage, artisan items, fine jewelry, gifts, and fashion jewelry will fill Main Hall and North Hall. New and sought-after exhibitors will include Antlerworx, Bora, B.S. Trading, Karma Living, Anatolia Rug Gallery, Sunrise Pepper Sauce, Replica Décor, Dapper Doodles Boutique, and Ethan Oberst Photography.
The summer edition of Total Home & Gift Market will attract buyers from all 50 states and dozens of countries. In January 2022, the show experienced a 40% increase in buyer attendance versus January 2021 and a 45% increase in new buyers. Attendance from Texas and adjacent states was up by 26% and attendance from other regions was up by 66%. The strongest gains were from the Southeast (up 79%), West (up 61%), and Upper Midwest (up 59%). As the show expanded its reach across the country, international traffic also returned. Attendance by retailers from Canada and Mexico more than doubled compared with January 2021. The show welcomed single and multi-location retail, buying groups, and major stores.
The next shows in Dallas are Dallas Design Days (April 25-26), Apparel & Accessories Market (June 14-17), and Total Home & Gift Market (June 22-28) including The Temps at Total Home & Gift Market (June 22-25).
