Area rug exhibitors at Las Vegas Market's summer 2022 event offer a broad range of styles and qualities in
fresh colorations.
LAS VEGAS -- Area rug designs continue to warm up with vendors re-issuing classic looks in a wave of earthy hues. Ivories, browns and rusts counterbalance cooler palettes of omni-present blue and gray looks. Rug buyers can expect these tones in everything from handmade hide designs and pure wool hand-knotted rugs to high-quality machine-mades and more budget friendly performance introductions.
But there are still plenty of options for those seeking more colorful options, from soft pinks, organic greens, bold blues among a few, to choose from. Motifs re-interpret everything from iconic Berber styles, classic Persian motifs, tribal looks and modern geometrics in color combinations that inspire re-assurance and comfort.
In this two-part guide to what's new and next at Las Vegas summer market, RugNews.com surveys 20-plus top names in the field to offer a rug buyers' preview of what's in store. Below we showcase the latest designs from companies A to L -- and be sure not to miss Part 2 of our comprehensive compendium, click here.
