High Point Market area rug debuts include plenty of warm pumpkin tones for fall buyers.
HIGH POINT, N.C. -- The fall edition of High Point Market, running from Oct. 17-20, is expected to be the busiest show to date since the pandemic took hold -- and surveyed area rug companies anticipate a continued healthy appetite for their latest designs.
In fact, several area rug manufacturers have signaled their commitment to the High Point event by expanding their footprints with brand-new or expanded showrooms. Among the rug players boasting new fall locations or larger spaces are Feizy (with a second showroom), HRI (celebrating its largest showroom to date), Karastan, Kaleen, Loloi, Momeni, and several more.
The added legroom for area rugs means that buyers will have more rugs to shop and an improved browsing experience. What's more area rug merchants have worked tirelessly over the past year to ensure that new debuts or featured rugs are in stock and ready to ship. The fall High Point will offer market-goers plenty of fresh options to choose from to update their stores or complete interior design projects. And, it offers something for everyone with constructions and styles ranging from high-end hand-knots to performance machine-mades and everything in between.
What's more, the October home show welcomes the return of licensed area rug rollouts, which slowed dramatically over the course of the past two years. Licensed rug newcomers include designers Stacy Garcia (Karastan), Amber Lewis (Loloi) and Nicole Curtis (Nourison) with expansions of successful programs, including Calvin Klein (Nourison), Hilary Farr (Kaleen) and Thom Filicia (Feizy).
With so much new and newsworthy, RugNews.com compiles a handy guide to what is sure to be a top-selling palette at the fall High Point Market: warm and cozy pumpkin tones. Below are some of our favorite designs, in a variety of constructions and styles, to bring this earthy color home.
