HIGH POINT, N.C. -- Trans-Ocean grows its performance indoor-outdoor rugs lineup and adds to its indoor wool assortment -- as well as intros newt mats and pillows -- at spring High Point Market.
On show at its High Point showroom H412 will be the new Como collection designed by Liora Manne, which offers a gradient abstract pattern, with tri-color shapes formed by hand-dipped dyeing to create subtle shading. This triple-dip-dye technique creates a colorful and harmonious artwork reminiscent of Color Field painting. Como is hand-tufted of pure wool in an assortment of sizes: 42” x 66”, 5’ x 7’6”, 7’6” x 9’6”, 8’3” x 11’6”, and 27” x 8’ runner. The retail price for 5’ x 7’6” is $499.

Another indoor addition grows the Savoy collection, hand-tufted of 100 percent wool in India. The new Memphis pattern features large abstract vortexes in a neutral palette of ivory and beige with accents of either blue or black. These rugs have a high-quality finish, featuring a textural, multi-dimensional surface, and thick material for plush and soft tread. Available sizes are 42" x 66", 5' x 7'6", 7'6" x 9'6", 8'3" x 11'6", and 24" x 7'6" runner. MSRP is $499 in 5'3"X7'6".
In the performance category Trans-Ocean expands its indoor-outdoor Riviera collection with two additional geometric patterns called Vienna and Pinnacle. Made in Egypt from 100 percent polypropylene, the Riviera collection is power-loomed in a dense weave with a high-quality finish that is fade resistant, durable, easy care, UV stabilized and protected for enhanced fade resistance. Sizes are 39” x 59”, 5’3” x 7’3” , 6’6” x 9’4”, 7’10” x 9’10”, and 23” x 7’6” runner, with a retail price of $143 for 5’3” x 7’3”.

Market-goers will also be able to browse newness in pillows and mats, with the performance Esenscia mat program adding Floral Dragonfly and Hydrangeas patterns. These mats are made in Egypt from 75 percent polypropylene and 25 percent polyester and reinforced with a latex non-skid backing. These mats are durable, machine washable and ideal for high traffic areas such as the patio, front porch, sunroom, deck, porch and backyard. Available sizes are 24” x 34.5”, 29” x 47”, and 23” x 59”. The retail price for 24” x 34.5” is $43.
