KALATY RETURNS TO HIGH POINT WITH SOFT OPENING OF NEW SPACE

HIGH POINT, N.C. -- After an absence of three years, the New York-based Kalaty returns to High Point Market with a soft opening of a new permanent space.
During the recent fall market, Kalaty unveiled a new 3,700 square foot showroom (IHFC, G-369), but will celebrate its official grand opening at the spring 2019 High Point Market. For the fall show, the company hosted a "soft opening" showcasing a small selection of rugs from its latest collections. "This is not our first High Point showroom," explained company principal and ORIA president, Ramin Kalaty. "For a number of years we had a much smaller space in Historic Market Square, which we outgrew. We always knew we would return to this very important market. Now, after looking for just the right spot where we can show the depth and breadth of our line, we feel we have found it on the 3rd floor of the IHFC."
Kalaty in September also opened a showroom in New York City's Textile Building so it could target the shoppers of NY Home Fashions Market (read full story).
