LOS ANGELES – Design leader Art Resources has announced an enhanced new program allowing dealers to white-label its extensive assortment of luxury area rugs instantly and risk-free through a website called Artisan Rugs.
The program is open to stocking dealers, giving them the opportunity to compete with larger rug retailers -- both brick and mortar and e-commerce – with access to 15,000 area rug SKUs. “ArtisanRugs.com is a duplicate of our website but can be marketed by our dealers as their own site,” said Jack Simantob, a principal at Art Resources. “The Artisan Rugs website has no information or address linking it to Art Resources. We are one of very few companies that are not going directly to the end user, as we believe that would be unfair to our customers. Instead, we’re offering the best attributes of technology used by today’s large-scale e-commerce resellers to help our customers generate more sales through ArtisanRugs.com.”
Marrakesh Collection AR8M75 hand-knotted of wool is available to Artisan Rugs dealers.
“Participants in this program will never have to lose a sale because the exact rug the designer or homeowner is looking for is not in stock at their store. Most likely we will have what they want on the Artisan Rugs white label website, which we have designed with search filters that make online shopping very user friendly.”
Art Resources' Anatalya collection style AR13T50 features trending Oushak motif in neutral soft green color.
At the same time, participants accrue all the benefits of Art Resources’ award-winning design expertise and product development and its broad selection of styles, yarn types and weaves. “The program we’ve designed gives our customers the opportunity for plus business and greater profits than they could achieve without our years of experience with weavers in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Turkey, India,” Simantob explained.

What’s more, the strong Art Resources stock position, as well as the company’s quick shipping capabilities with warehouses on the east and west coasts in Los Angeles and Carlstadt, New Jersey, allows retailers to get into the rug business risk free. “ArtisanRugs.com is designed to give dealers and their clients direct access to our full inventory with none of our contact information, but all of the tools they need to be successful in the rug category," Simantob says.
